Should I restore my roof or replace it?

Eliminating tear-off saves you an upfront cost of up to a dollar per square foot, plus disposal fees, and it speeds up the whole process. Will my business have to shut down during the work?

Usually not. Coating application is far less disruptive than a tear-off and often consists of only a small crew, often quiet and unseen, prepping and spraying. That's one of the biggest advantages of restoration over replacement.

What kind of warranty do you offer?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the system. Our single ply membrane systems carry up to 20 years of non-prorated warranty. Coating systems carry warranties based on the substrate and system specified. We'll tell you exactly what's available for your roof before you commit.

Do you charge for inspections and estimates?

No. We would be honored to take a look at your roof and give you a free estimate or inspection. You'll get a full report of our findings, including if the answer is that you don't need work done right now.

When should I schedule a roof inspection?

Accepted Answer

Call us if you're buying a new property, selling a property, or filing an insurance claim, and annually as preventative maintenance. Catching small issues early prevents significant damage to your facility's structure and expensive emergency repairs later.

Why is my black EPDM roof deteriorating so quickly?

Accepted Answer

The synthetic rubber's dark colors absorb most of the sun's rays, leading to degradation of the EPDM membrane. As the membrane decomposes it becomes more susceptible to puncturing, and Colorado's high-altitude UV exposure accelerates that considerably. A white coating solves it.

How long does an SPF foam roof last?

There are no known end-of-service-life figures for SPF. Generally, if SPF is pressure washed and sprayed with a top coat every 15 to 20 years, this system will last decades. SPF shows little sign of deterioration or change in physical properties even after 30 years, and unlike other systems, it's renewable rather than replaceable.
