EPDM Roof Repair and Restoration
Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roofing is a type of thermoset membrane roof material. It is the most common material used to create rubber roofs, and is derived from oil and natural gases. EPDM roofs are widely used in commercial and residential applications.
Over time, EPDM rubber roofing experiences wear-and-tear problems, especially in Colorado. The synthetic rubber's dark colors tend to absorb most of the sun's rays, leading to degradation of the EPDM's membrane. As the membrane decomposes, it becomes more susceptible to puncturing.

Clean & Prep
The roof surface is thoroughly cleaned so the coating bonds properly to the existing membrane.
Seam Reinforcement
Seams, fasteners and penetrations are reinforced with fabric embedded in elastomeric coating. Those are the places leaks start.
White Top Coat
An Energy-Star rated white top coat is applied, reflecting up to 85% of the sun's heat rays and cooling the building naturally.
